Derek Yee Tung-Sing Biyografisi

Derek Yee Tung-Sing (Çince: 爾冬陞, 28 Aralık 1957 doğumlu), şu anda bir film yönetmeni ve senarist olan, ticari uygulanabilirlik kaygılarını sanatsal dürüstlükle dikkatle ele almasıyla Hong Kong ve uluslararası film festivali çevrelerinde şöhret ve saygı kazanmış, Hong Kong'lu eski bir Shaw Brothers aktörüdür. Hong Konglu ünlü aktörler Paul Chun ve aynı zamanda eski bir Shaw Brothers yıldızı olan David Chiang'ın küçük üvey kardeşidir. Yee, 1975 ile 1986 yılları arasında, Shaw Brothers Studio'nun hâlâ film yapımcılığı yaptığı dönemde, Hong Kong'da 40'tan fazla filmde rol aldı. O zamandan beri Yee senaryo yazarlığına ve yönetmenliğe yöneldi ve C'est la vie, mon chéri, Viva Erotika ve The Truth About Jane and Sam gibi filmlerin yanı sıra One Night in Mongkok ve Protégé gibi cesur dramalar yaparak kariyer yaptı. Derek Yee, Hong Konglu aktris Maggie Cheung'un eski erkek arkadaşıydı.
